Once you have eaten a homemade burger then there is no going back again! The difference in the taste is massive and the best thing about making your own burger is that you can add in any extra flavours that you like.
Add a bit of American flavours and then you have the taste of a meatloaf, or add some spice and you have the taste of Asia or add some mint and you are back in Europe.
In this recipe we make minted burgers but there is no reason why you can’t experiment a little and swap out the mint for a different herb or spice. Why not try adding in chopped parsley, some chilli peppers or even a touch of curry powder if you are feeling adventurous!
Make your burgers ahead of time to leave only the cooking when it comes to your barbeque party. Or to stop them falling apart when you are cooking them stick them in the fridge for a couple of hours.
