Where did those three years go? Three years ago I started My Weight Loss Dream in a bid to lose weight. I was a blogger anyway and it seemed a great idea to start a blog and then I wouldn’t lose focus and I would actually achieve what I set out to achieve.
That was that one day I would be a healthy weight, fit into my favourite dress (that I first wore when I was 17) and have a much healthier lifestyle.
It took me three years to achieve this. Though, I did have a baby in the middle of that, so in my mind I did it rather quick!
At the end of September I decided to try on the dress just to see if it fit me and whether this was actually possible and took a snap:
It fit me and yes I was back in a size 10 but at the same time I still had a big belly that stuck out and got on my nerves!
So I had one last month of being super healthy to get the last stretch of fat off me and to tone up a bit. And then I set myself a goal of being at my dream target for Halloween.
I chose Halloween because it is my mums 60th birthday and the majority of the people there last saw me when I was obese and it seemed like the perfect occasion to show off my slimmer figure.

But most of all I love the fact that I am going to be going out in a size 10 dress. Just because when you’ve been a size 22 to drop to a size 10 is a big deal. But I am so glad that I have now lost over 6 stone and that I have much better health.
After getting myself ready and getting into some fancy dress, I head out to the party and here are a few snaps from the evening:
If you do want to lose weight I would thoroughly recommend setting yourself targets. A date in your diary when you WILL fit into your slimmer clothes and when you will be fitter than you are now.
It takes hard work and dedication and if I can do it then I am sure you can 🙂
