I can’t believe it is a year on since last Christmas already and a big Merry Christmas to everyone from My Weight Loss Dream.
Last Christmas I was a little heavier than what I am now and yet a year on I have a beautiful month old baby girl and I am looking forward to Christmas and 2015 when I plan to lose more weight and get even more healthy!
Last Christmas was also a time when I had a bit of a weight gain (okay a lot of weight gain) and this year I will attempt to be a bit more healthy than I was last Christmas but still no promises!
The one thing that they say results in the most calories at Christmas is the booze, well as a breast feeding mum to a newborn this is not something I am going to be experiencing so at least I can chop these calories on the head!
But at the same time, at Christmas there is just so much food I adore that I struggle to give up on and I am sure this year will be no different.
For example some things that are high in calorie that I can’t cope without include:
- Roast potatoes
- Pigs in blankets
- Cheese sauce over my vegetables
- Cheese & biscuits
- Turkey skin
This must be the ultimate bad list of Christmas food but who cares? I love the stuff J though my biggest flaw has to be Dominic’s roast potatoes as they are the nicest ones that I have ever tried!
If you have read this article that I published last Christmas you’ll know that on average at Christmas we consume more than 6000 calories in just one day. And that is without what we all eat the day before and the day after and hopefully I can cut down a bit this year!
Though, I would like just to say no after four roast potatoes but I doubt that I can! On the other hand there is always Kyle’s plate with him having a fast metabolism and a BMI of 18.8 I doubt those extra roast potatoes will do him any harm!
What about you? What are your worst offenders at Christmas?
