Welcome to learning to walk before you can run stage 17 and thank you for stopping by.
I can’t believe how far I have come and all in a relatively short space of time.
I remember back in 2012 I had a website management client. She was Australian, so friendly and incredibly nice. Her partner was a surgeon in the army and they were wanting to create an online income. They always shared stories with us about how fit they were, what yoga they had done, that their dog ran on the treadmill next to them in their home gym and they seemed to have the dream world as far as healthy lifestyle was concerned.
They assumed I was the same as them, yet I was hiding this big secret of being obese and the fact that I hadn’t been in the gym for years and that there was no way I could run 100m let alone 10 miles like they regularly did.
Yet here I am towards the end of my learning to run podcasts and realising there is hope and just because I was obese once, doesn’t mean that I am going to be like this forever.
What’s Included In Learning To Run Stage 17
In the latest Podcast I wanted to step things up a gear as I want to be able to finish after stage 18 and the thought that I want to finish my running challenge in the next few weeks is rather scary.
Today I aim for half an hour. When I originally looked at the NHS option it was all about couch potato to running 30 minutes without stopping and this seemed so difficult and so out of my league, so to be at this point now is amazing!
