Hello and welcome to our latest Podcast at My Weight Loss Dream.
As you can see I am now on with stage 5 of my learning to run series. These Podcasts and for people like me and you that would just collapse in a heap on the floor if a personal trainer came anywhere near us.
When I started my running diary I had an overweight BMI. Now thanks to these Podcasts and a healthy diet I have a normal BMI for the first time in a decade.
I am using the softly approach in my running Podcasts, just because that is what I need. I am a new mum and I want to build up my fitness slowly. So if this applies to you, then come and join the party!
How often you complete my Podcasts is entirely up to you. You might want to go out once or twice a week, or even more. The choice is yours. I try to get out twice a week it just depends on what I have on!
It is also up to you if you go alone or take a friend. My running companion is my puppy Demon and my teenage son Kyle. It makes it more fun and it stops either of us getting bored.
What’s Included In Learning To Run Stage 5
This stage is another one that is about steady increases. Increases that are so small, that you think to yourself “what was all the fuss about?” and thinking that this is like a piece of cake.
But as you build yourself up (especially when you hit stage 12) you’ll be amazed by how far you have come.
Also if a stage takes three attempts then that’s fine, just like if you need ten attempts, that is no problem either.
I find that on some of my runs I need a pause and then to carry on, so for a round like that I will do it again until I perfect it.
