Hey guys! Today I am blogging on behalf of 7 Day Fitness Training, but the views expressed here are ours and the stories are ours. To learn more, visit the 7 Day Fitness Training website.
I am always looking for a way to lose weight and anything that promises to give me great results but in the quickest time possible appeals to me – so I was instantly drawn to the 7dayfitness training programme from Wesley Virgin.
Just one look at Wesley and it is easy to be motivated! He looks fantastic on the site and in his videos and rather than looking overly muscular he looks very healthy which gave me confidence that the programme that he has designed would be suitable for me, although I was still worried if the level of fitness in the workouts would be too difficult for me.
Firstly I signed up for the7dayfitness training programme and this was super simple and easy to do through the wesley virgin website so I could get started straight away on losing weight and getting fit.
To be honest I have bought so many fitness DVDs in the past and enrolled in countless different classes at the gym but while some of the programmes work for a while, they never work over the long term so what I was really looking for from the 7dayfitness training was a long term solution to weight loss and getting fit and I think I have finally found it.
You can of course just get going and start doing workouts from the moment you sign in with a quick set up, but it is well worth taking the time out of your day to watch the highly motivational and really interesting little videos that Wesley has created to set you on your path to weight loss and fitness for life.
He lays it all out for you about the truth behind why we may struggle to lose weight and is living proof that you are not always born looking how you want to look but that it is more than possible to make positive changes in your life to achieve the goals you have set out for yourself.
A lot of the information that is given in the getting started videos is pretty much common sense but the engaging way that Wesley puts this across seems to give it new meaning and make it more real. He is a really great speaker and can be funny too and he highlights the importance of finding out why you want to lose weight for the long term and to focus on changes that are not designed to be a diet but a change in lifestyle itself.
The site is really simple to use with step by step guides to each section to really get you going fast and gives details all about the 7dayfitness training programme. With the short, easy to use and watch videos being a great motivator I felt pumped to start my workout straight away. Also, there is a real community feel to the site with help from Wesley and other users who are on hand and available which makes you feel like you are not alone on the 7dayfitness training programme.
During the introduction there is a lot of focus on the mental aspects of the weight loss and fitness programme and although some of the videos are not of the best quality I was not really concerned because it is the information that is the most important.
He is really enthusiastic and really motivated throughout the seminars, videos and the workouts which helped me to feel really connected and he advocates such a positive focus to weight loss and fitness that it is hard to not also feel motivated immediately.
The videos do stop and start so it is a good idea to let them load up first for it to be a smooth video watch, this actually makes it much better because he is a really good speaker and when he is in full flow it is pretty amazing!
Some parts of the videos are very American – talking about octane for your car which I guess is petrol – but it is not too off putting because the thoughts are the same and he gets his point across well. There are also some odd locations for the videos that made me giggle a bit – the bunk bed videos are especially strange!
After working out your motivation then it is off to the boot camp for 30 days with a 10lb guaranteed weight loss promised.
The workout videos are super simple to follow and there are clear instructions on each of the days to let you know how many times you should be doing an exercise and what foods you should be watching on those days.
There is a video for everyday of the boot camp available and once you tick off that you have seen the video then you can move on to the next stage. There are also lots of videos to work specific body parts, which is great for someone like me who is looking to beat the flab around my tummy area as he has some fantastic ab workout sessions on the site.
Every workout is no more than 7 minutes each to make sure there is enough time for everyone to do them and still get amazing results and for anyone wanting to lose more weight in the month then there is always the advanced coaching session for those who want to lose more weight faster.
Wesley manages to keeps the 7dayfitness training programme clear and not too scary by only watching one video each day and following the simple rules which on the first week is drink only water and eat no fast food so it is not complicated
The first day of burst training was tricky but not impossible, I have regular level of fitness and all of the exercises were easy to follow and the workout passed in what felt like only a moment!
After the workout I felt out of breath but not uncomfortable and to be honest I really wanted to do the next but I held on for the next day.
I wasn’t so excited about inputting my food into the meal planner but I have done it for the first week but will probably not keep this up as it is the exercise that I am now far more interested in!
The 7dayfitness training programme really has helped to change the way I think about my weight and what motivates me to do the exercises and eat well. I find Wesley to have a great personality that shines through the workouts and the variation of exercises is refreshing as well as being challenging.
After 7 days I can already see a difference in my body and I am looking forward to completing the entire 30 day programme and to feeling happier, healthier and fitter!
