Here I am with yet another income report showing you how we generate our income at My Weight Loss Dream. My Weight Loss Dream was created to achieve our goal of losing weight and also to earn a little money along the way.
As you can see we are nearly there:
This is especially the case when you compare it to this post from three years ago and 2 months before we started My Weight Loss Dream:
Plus as an added bonus having this site and using it to lose weight has also earned us six figures and also allowed us to help a lot of other people set up their own websites in the diet and fitness niche and we are proud of all of this.
We now have less than 7 kilos left to lose, I have my running Podcasts nearly completed (I can now run for 30 minutes without stopping) and My Weight Loss Dream is about to go up for sale. It was always our plan to use this blog to make some money while we lost weight and then sell it when we hit our goal.
So here I am doing just that. So you never know this might be the last income report I write 🙂
Plus I have other websites to deal with, other blogs that require my attention, new ebook plans away from this site and it is now an interesting crossroads in our blogging career. The best thing that I take forward is that I had never done a video or a podcast until this blog and it has given me excellent practice for the future.

More information on our revenue & profit during October 2015:
This is the first month that we are sharing income from Caveman Diet Blog. To say that it has generated revenue for such a new site is amazing. And when you see the traffic further down you’ll be even more impressed.
I am enjoying the adventures of doing the Caveman Diet Blog and now I am getting it all monetised and thanks to the sales funnel already being set up, we are now working on the pay per click, with both FB and Bing ads starting recently.
Many people ask me what kind of blogger I am and I say “I blog about my life” just because that is exactly what I do. I have had travel blogs for places I have visited, I have diet blogs based on diets I have done, I have baby sites from when I have had my daughter and a whole range of other ones.
Sometimes Dominic says “you don’t have to blog about your entire life” and then I kind of think I do, because when you are writing about something that you have a high level of knowledge in, it suddenly becomes so much easier.
This month has been rather boring from an income point of view. Focus has been so much on content for talking about final weight loss and fitness that monetising hasn’t been a priority. But that also shows you that you can leave a site to it, and it can still make money!
Traffic During October & Two Lots Of Stats
Normally I would have just My Weight Loss Dream here but now that we have caveman Diet Blog, I have two different lots of traffic to share with you.
Firstly, here is the traffic from Caveman Diet Blog:
It is amazing to say that I have traffic for a site that to date has had no paid ads and it a simple site based around content and posting to social media. It shows that you can achieve it if you want to and with the site being less than 3 months old it proves that anyone can do it.
Also with traffic coming via a variety of sources I am creating a long term traffic machine that can be monetised for years to come.
In regards to My Weight Loss Dream it is nice and steady. Lots of regular content (like always) and no paid ads whatsoever. As you can see below October has been an average month:
This means that we have a RPM of $28.24 for My Weight Loss Dream and amazing as it sounds a RPM of $71.47 for Caveman Diet Blog. I can’t complain about either site and it just shows with Caveman Diet Blog that can you build something from scratch without spending much money and bring in organic traffic within a couple of months.
Well from a health point of view I personally have about 7 kilos left to lose. This may seem a lot to some people and hardly any to others. I want to achieve this by Christmas, whether I do or not is a different story!
From a work point of view I am looking forward to new things as I try and sell this site. I want to finish my Podcast before I go as otherwise I would feel like I have not achieved what I set out to do. Which was to run three times around my local park without stopping. I am 2.5 times around now, so I am getting much closer.
For us the future is rosy and I want to thank you all (as my readers) for following me on my journey.
